the patton tank evolution Group Build
In March 2021, AMPS-CV members decided to create a Patton Tank group display for AMPS 2022. The final display featured 29 variants in 1:35 scale. Erik Roberson coordinated the project. The members gathered on a Saturday to cut, sand and paint the bases with Ashley Abernathy’s power tools and guidance. John Robinson designed the logo and version placards on the display with printing assistance from Steve Bruce. It was unveiled at AMPS 2022 in Newport News, VA.
